Golden Age Club

The Romeoville Golden Age Club meets every Thursday at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W Romeo Road from noon to 4 p.m. Seniors enjoy socializing over lunch, cards and bingo. Members must be 55 years young to join, and may do so by coming to any Thursday meeting.

Drop in Day

Every Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. residents and non-residents 50 and over can participate in different board games and socialize with friends.

TUESDAY NICKEL RAFFLE MANIa


From 10 am - 1 pm, bring your change and your friends to enjoy this fabulous new game! Must be 18 years or older to participate. Coffee will be served.

Open Gym

For the active adult 50 and over come and enjoy playing basketball, volleyball or just to walk around the gym for some exercise (this program is free to Romeoville residents). Monday - Friday, 9 am - Noon.

Senior Bunco

The Golden Age Club sponsors Bunco once a year in May to raise funds for the Springfield trip. Cost for the Bunco is $5 with different prizes awarded throughout the night.

Illinois Senior Olympics

The Illinois Senior Olympic games are held annually in September. Local games are held throughout the state during the spring and summer. Men and women age 50 and older may compete in more than 50 events including swimming, track and field, bowling, golf, archery, and team sports. Ribbons and medals are awarded. Qualifying competitors are invited to go on to the National Competition which is held in the odd numbered year.

Bowlero Senior Bowling League

Special reduced bowling rates during Club 55 hours, exclusive awards program, including weekly recognition awards, expert instruction and lightweight bowling balls are available. Phillip Lynch Theater

Enjoy an afternoon with friends and family at the Phillip Lynch Theater at Lewis University. The Philip Lynch Theater Season runs from July to April each year.

The Recreation Center offers a 3,000 square foot fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, locker rooms with showers and a beautiful aerial view of Village Park. You will enjoy getting in shape with our convenient hours and quality services. Discounted rates are offered to seniors 60 and up.
