Be part of the Romeoville Recreation Department's Community Basketball League, for boys and girls in grades K-8. Our comprehensive basketball program is for all skill levels with an emphasis on having fun, basic skill development, equal participation, teamwork and sportsmanship through practices and games. Each practice will have a volunteer coach and an athletic staff present, along with every game having a trained and patched referee. This season, games will be 3 vs. 3, with a max roster of 5 players. Each team will have 7 practices and a minimum of 6 games. Player and coach requests are not guaranteed. 

COVID-19 Update: If the Youth Sports Guidelines from the IDCEO does not allow league play, teams will be split into separate groups and will only practice and scrimmage against each other. The Athletic Supervisor will send updates on the status of COVID-19 and league play.
Uniforms: Each player will receive one t-shirt and shorts.
Coaches Needed: Volunteer Coaches are an integral part of the Community Basketball League. Coaches clinics and trainings will be available to new and returning coaches. If you are interested in being a head or assistant coach, please contact the Athletic Supervisor.
Registration Ends: February 1    
Coaches Meeting: February 2    
Practices: Begin the week of Feb 15: Monday through Wednesday (Your practice day and time will vary upon coach availability).
Games: Saturday between 9am-2pm, with a few      Thursday and Friday games for all grade levels.
Playoffs: Players in 5th grade and higher will participate in an end of season playoff/tournament. Younger teams will practice and play games during the early time slots.

No practices or games on: 3/12, 3/13, 3/20, 3/26
